The Bremer Institute of TAFE, winner of the 2006 Australian Training Provider of the Year Award, is one of the earliest vocational education and training providers established in Queensland. The Bremer is located approximately 40 kilometres west of Brisbane with campuses and training facilities located at Bundamba, Inala, Goodna, Springfield, Boonah and within the heart of Ipswich City.
As Queensland's oldest provincial city, Ipswich has a rich history. It is renowned for its architectural, natural and cultural heritage. Ipswich proudly preserves and still operates from many of its historical buildings and homes, with more than 6000 heritage-listed sites. Ipswich also has a range of charming townships within the western rural areas of the city, each with its own legitimate claims of historical significance. However, Ipswich boasts all the modern facilities and attractions of a progressive city. Attractions include art galleries, museums, more than 500 parks, wineries, cafes, restaurants, cinemas and shopping centres.
Each year over 17,000 students enrol in a new future with The Bremer Institute, enjoying open spaces, easy access to modern city life, excellent public transport and a strong, supportive local community.
